Baby Daze
My middle sister is having a baby. This is baby number 5 for my sister and brother in law - and girl number 5! Can you believe that? Five girls - God bless my poor brother in law! LOL Actually, he loves it and I admire my brother in law greatly. It is tough duty to be the only male in a sea of six females. Fortunatley, he has a big garage full of manly toys that he can retreat to!
I have gone completely overboard with buying stuff for this little baby - which is *supposed* to be a girl. Girl clothes and girl baby supplies are so much fun to buy - and cute! I sure hope this baby does not surprise us all and pop out with some external plumbing fixutres, because he will be naked! Anyway, I cannot wait until she is born. I am looking forward to knowing that she is alright and that my sister is alright. My sister suffers from Lupus. So far, all is well except that the amniotic fluid is slightly low - a problem that my sister has had with two of her previous pregnancies. We are expecting the baby to come sometime in the middle of April - possibly sooner if there is a problem with the fluid levels or something else comes up. Hopefully, Little Missy will stay in her Mama's tummy for the next six weeks. We want a fully cooked baby girl.
There is still no name for Little Nameless just yet. The family joke is that my sister and brother in law have already used up all the good names! LOL That is not true, but they are having trouble picking a name. They want an name that either ends in the "ie" sound - or has a nickname that ends in the "ie" sound. They already have a Haley, Kaitlynn (called Kaitie), Abigail (called Abbey) and a Natalie. Any suggestions? And, then, we have not even touched the subject of a middle name! Let's not go there just yet :)

YAY!!! Prayers to your sister and the baby for a healthy delivery.
There's always Bessie or Sally. Maybe Sally Bessie?? LOL She wouldn't have to know she was named after cars.
Our third child is nick named Nellie, short for Janelle. But, not everyone likes that name. I do not like Jan so we started early with Nellie and I have had a lot of compliments I must say....on the nick name that is.
My sister found out she had Lupus just after her last pregnancy. It caused her Lupus symptoms to "flare up" and so it was a blessing to find out what was causing all her health issues. Now we know.
Keep us posted on her pregnancy/delivery. Children are such a blessing!
Jen: I already suggested Sally - and they shot that one down! LOL It will be intersting to see what they come up with.
April: This pregnancy was an accident and we are all praying that my sister's health will continue to be good. And, I love the name Janelle - but my sister's name is Jannille (pronounced Jan-neil) so that will not work ;)
