Confession~

Bill is gone into the wilderness until Tuesday and I have not actually cooked a single thing since he has been gone. Warming up soup and Raviolis does not constitute actual cooking does it?

We have gone out for dinner for the past two nights! Shhhhhhh.......!

I SO relate!! One time I cooked dinner for the kids and myself when Todd was out of town on business and they were like, "What's this? Why are we eating at home??"

By the way - I tagged you for a meme!! :o)

Give yourself a break, Jen. It's okay. And yes warming up soup does constitute cooking...you had to turn on the stove right? or the microwave for that matter. LOL

Did you know that the author of the book I just read was good friends with the Author of Aunt Jane's Hero? Thought you might be interested.
Have a great week my friend and don't kill yourself cookin'!

Of course that is cooking! Especially if you compare it to dashing out to Taco Bell, which is what I would have done. :) Heck, its what I do! And my husband is home so I have no excuse other that sheer laziness. :)

When I'm home alone, I don't even require plates or bowls to do my cooking. I've been known to make a grilled cheese sandwich with a clothes iron and make myself some soup by placing the can on the stove burner and eating the soup straight out of the can. All I need is an oven mitt and a spoon. I like to think of it as creative adventures in the culinary arts.
And just so you know, I've seen our brother exist for weeks on food that didn't require a fork or a spoon in order to eat it.
