Big sheets of lovely, wet, cool, smoke eating rain!
It rained for at least 2 hours - manybe longer. I lay awake in bed and listened to it pound the metal roof. At one point, it really poured and I thought, "Oh, that is awfully hard, I hope there is not a flash flood." I immediatley began berating myself. A flash flood in the smaller mountain streams would not be unwelcome right about now.
Thank You Heavenly Father for the gift of rain and clean air!
I am feeling so good, I am going to pull my car out of the garage and take it for a spin today!

I may be on hiatus for a couple of days as I just received my copy of Lord John and the Brotherhood of the Blade and I cannot wait to read the words Jamie Fraser!!

I know I am beating a dead horse BUT I am jealous you have RAIN TOO!! The injustice of it all. I can't remember the last time I was in a sheet of rain.
I noticed your weather was a cool 59 degrees...just perfect for jeans and a sweatshirt....Really do you have to post about the weather. Can a sista get a little mercy??
Oh and thanks again for sharing Barbara's post. It was great!
You have a metal roof??? I've been trying to keep my jealousy under control, but to know you have a metal roof and can lay there and listen to the rain pelting it is pushing me over the top!! YOU ARE SO LUCKY!!
I'm picking up the book between doctors' appointments yesterday!! Can't wait to read it! :o)
I'm picking up the book between doctors' appointments yesterday!!
Um, that was supposed to be "tomorrow". LOL
Anyhoo, I picked it up and Thirteen Moons and a couple other Restoration period books. I've only gotten about 50 pages into it, but I'm enjoying it so far. Except for the very beginning - there was a lot of conversation going on with only the eyes. :o)
One more thing - have you read Letters from Pemberley and More Letters from Pemberley? Almost bought those on a recommendation from a friend, but I figured I had already gone way over my budget which was somewhere around NOTHING!
Jenster: So far, I have not been able to really get into Thirteen Moons so I have put it aside for a while. As for LJ & Brotherhood of the Blade - I confess to skimming through and reading all the parts with Jamie in it and have just now gone back and started from the beginning. I know that was naughty - just could not help myself. It has been far to long since I we had any new Jamie!!!
April: I promise. No weather reports for a while! I don't want to torture you xoxoxox!
You leave me speechless! That's just so wrong!! LOL I'm looking forward to running into Jamie. Yippy!!!
I am terrible I know. I have almost finished LJ and the Brotherhood of the Blade. Am really liking it - erm, for the most part. More about it in another post.
