Friday Faves!
While we are on the subject of concerts, let's do this week's Friday Faves meme.
What was the best concert you have attended?
It is hard for me to choose. I suspect that James Taylor is going to capture the top spot tomorrow night. For now, the best, most fun concert I have attended was Bryan Adams. He is one of my absolute favorites and when my friend and I saw him a few years back, it was a like being in college again!

I've never really been one for concerts ~ I don't like crowds and tend to get severe anxiety. Does the Grand Ole Opry count as far as concerts go? I loved that ~ Faith Hill, Alison Krauss, David Ball, Little Jimmy Dickens, Hank Snow, Porter Wagenar, Bryan White, Bill Anderson, and several more I can't remember right now. It was the best.
Other than that, Branson was good too. I highly recommend Shoji Tabuchi to anyone going there.
In my younger years I went to many concerts. Saw some really amazing acts of the day. Top of my personal fav list was Journey (3 times!), Foreigner, Billy Squier, John Mellencamp, among others. Ones that surprised me were: Bryan Adams as an opening act to Journey- he was new and quite unknown but was fabulous without any fancy props. Saw Stevie Nicks (who was one of the best performers ever!) and her opening act was Joe Walsh of the Eagles- he was bloody fantastic! Probably one of the best surprises of my concert going experiences!! Aah...the memories!!
