We have four horses - my husband's beloved saddle horse Cowboy and three pack horses, Ranchero, Winterhawk and Trooper. I do not ride, but my husband rides all the time. I regret not riding when I was younger. It was not something I had the opportunity to learn to do when I was a kid. So, I hope my kids will learn to ride if they want to!
By the way, the two bays (brown horses) are Cowboy and Ranchero, Winterhawk is the white one and Trooper is the dark one. All are sweet and good natured and the kids love to go out to the corrals and pet them.

Beautiful pictures and beautiful horses. I LOVE horses and LOVE riding. I'd even muck stalls to be around them if I could. I'm seriously allergic to everything from the horse itself to the hay, and I always pay a high price when I go riding. But since the opportunities are scarce, I take each one I can. My husband thinks I'm crazy because I'm sick for days after. And I guess I should mention that I'm also SORE for days after. ;-)

Jen: Thank you! I love to feed them and pet them, but I do not ride and I am not inclined to let my *cowboy* hubby teach me!
Their beautiful! My K would love to own a horse but it ain't gonna happen. They have only been able to ride a pony here or there at a fair and that will have to do for now.
